President of the UN General Assembly's Consultation on Participation of Indigenous Peoples

The president of the United Nations General Assembly announced the next consultation on the participation of Indigenous Peoples will be held on Thursday, April 25 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., in conference room 1 at the UN headquarters in New York. The consultation will take place during the UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues 18th Session. 

Participants who would like to attend the consultation should register to attend the Permanent Forum. It is free and the deadline is April 8 (March 25 for organizations that have not attended previous sessions). Registration details are available at https://www.un.org/development/desa/indigenouspeoples/unpfii-sessions-2/18-2.html and you can send registration questions to indigenous_un@un.org.
