After working with us for two years as a government and legislative affairs associate, Perry Riggs is the deputy executive director.
Perry is Navajo from Leupp, Arizona. He is Kinyaa’aanii (Towering House), born for Naakai Dine’e (Mexican Clan). His maternal grandfathers are Tl’aashchi’i (Red Bottom People) and his paternal grandfathers are Tl’izilani (Many Goats). Perry has been a licensed attorney for 17 years previously working with Gila River Indian Community, the U.S. Senate Committee on Indian Affairs, the Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Community and in private practice on Navajo. Perry has a J.D., MBA and a bachelor’s in electrical engineering all from Arizona State University.
