WASHINGTON—The Navajo Nation Washington Office is pleased to announce the addition of a new government and legislative affairs associate Natasha John, who will oversee infrastructure, telecommunications, economic development and taxation portfolios.
"We are proud to have Natasha join the Navajo Nation Washington Office team. She brings significant experience working in Native American policy development on the congressional side of the table," said NNWO executive director Jackson Brossy.
Natasha is from Stillwater, Oklahoma and is a member of the Navajo Nation. Her clans are Bilagáana, born for Tł’ááshchí’í. She gained dual Bachelors of Arts degrees in Global Studies and Joint History/Political Science from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota and her Masters of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, Oklahoma. She comes to NNWO from the U.S. Senate Committee on Indian Affairs.
