Jared is a proud citizen of the Navajo Nation. He was raised in Naschitti, N.M. Jared's clan is Tł’ááshchí’í (Red Bottom People) and born for Táchii’nii (Red-Running-Into-The-Water) and his maternal grandfathers are Tábąąhá (Water's Edge) and his paternal grandfathers are Dziłtł’ahnii (Mountain Cove). 

Jared has more than 14 years of experience in public relations, advocacy, event planning and event production. He currently serves as the communications director at the Navajo Nation Washinton Office and handles the international affairs and sacred places portfolio. Jared was part of the Navajo Nation delegation that successfully repatriated seven sacred Navajo masks that were up for auction in Paris France. 

Jared holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the Colorado College.
